Gyroscopic Stabilisation
When a tripod is unusable and handheld is difficult, a Gyro Stabiliser, an “invisible tripod,” makes the job much easier; with less waste of film, time and a greater shooting success rate.

Initially designed to keep binoculars steadily on target from a pitching ship, the gyro units are also used widely on stills and video cameras, even by NASA.

Using the Gyro Stabiliser on a camera, it is possible to obtain clear crisp shots from unusual situations. From a plane or helicopter, a gyro will dampen out the engine and rotor vibration.

There are 2 gyros contained in each unit that rotate 22,000 rpm and provide stunning pointing stability. Performance is further enhanced if used in conjunction with lenses and cameras with in built image stabilisation.

When shooting at low light levels, one can get large format pictures with slower shutter speeds or longer lenses without the encumberance of a tripod. Thus with a complete freedom of movement!

Now available for hire, each kit contains a KS8 Gyro, cables, charger and a choice of battery size.
